About Esme
Hi, I’m Esme
I’m an Antenatal Hypnobirthing teacher, former NHS midwife, and mum to our gorgeous little girl, Clemmie. You could say I’m a bit of a birth nerd, and honestly, I love that.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve supported women and their families through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of parenthood. Having worked in three different NHS hospital trusts across the UK, I’ve seen just how different every journey (and maternity system) can be, and how feeling informed and supported can make such a difference to your experience.
We now live in France, as my husband plays rugby here, and it’s also where I gave birth to our daughter. Let’s just say, being ‘on the other side’ in a foreign country was a whole new experience. Even with all my midwifery knowledge, I found the local maternity system unfamiliar.
The policies were different, the approach was different, and having to advocate for myself in a second language was tough. It really opened my eyes to how overwhelming things can feel when you don’t fully understand what’s happening or what your options are.

That experience deepened my commitment to helping other women feel confident, prepared and fully informed.
I never want anyone to look back on their pegnancy & birth and think, “I wish I’d known,” or “If someone had just told me…”
If there’s even a small part of you wondering whether your birth could be different – calmer, more informed, more supported – then you’re in the right place.
What I offer…
My mission is to share everything I know, support you in making choices that feel right for you, and help you feel genuinely prepared for all the twists and turns pregnancy & birth can take. Whether you’re after tools to stay calm, ways to navigate medical decisions, or just someone to explain things clearly and honestly, you’re in the right place.
All my courses are delivered online, meaning I can support you wherever you are in the world.
